Thank you for this. I have been in a liminal space for months now and though I journal every day I have had nothing to write about for my blog. So, I have not blogged. I questioned it a lot at first but finally realized pretty much what you wrote about: just sit quietly and let it be....do not force it....just be at peace with it all. As always, you inspire me to be.
Thank you, Brenda! I know you get me. I really appreciate you. As you know, I've taken breaks form writing, too. I am sending you lots of love and prayers for delightful days for you!!!
I love this line of yours: “I am letting that be enough.” There’s a freedom and peace there. It creates room for the sacred, something deeper. I’m with you in that!
I don’t have any eloquent words to follow up this masterpiece you’ve offered us, but I’m just going to say thank you. Thank you, Lisa. You met me right where I am and for the first time in a while, I was able to breathe… and trust. Thank you for continuing writing. Your decision to write without a why felt like an answer to my soul tonight.
I wrote recently about my why on writing … which is why I write. But I agree … I don’t have a central why but on vacation this week I think it’s coming to me a bit more clearly. Midlife is weird. 🤩
Ohhh I'll go and read it, Shawn. Midlife is definitely changing things up! I'll be curious to hear your overall why when it emerges. Have a beautiful vacation!

Wow. This. All of it. I am in a lull right now for a variety of reasons and I’m letting that be enough. 🦋
